IDS NXT rome is an embedded vision platform in the form of a compact industrial camera that can execute neural networks with inference times of a few milliseconds thanks to the integrated, specially developed AI core ("deep ocean core"). AI-based image processing is particularly easy to realise using the IDS NXT lighthouse training software. Thanks to protection class IP65/67 it is also particularly robust. This protects the camera from dirt, dust and splash water.
Thanks to features such as C-mount, serial RS232 interface and a Gigabit Ethernet network connection with M12 connector, which enables the camera to communicate via REST web service and OPC UA, the model is ideally suited for use in industrial environments.
The 1/1.8" global shutter sensor IMX265 from Sony’s Pregius series delivers particularly low-noise images with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and easily meets high demands on image quality.
The IDS NXT rome Rev.1.2 GS18031 is available in monochrome or colour.
